NEW REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
GSV Fall Conference, 23rd Annual
September 27-30, 2012 (3-DAY OPTION)
September 26-30 (4-DAY OPTION, arriving 1 day early for informal gathering… no program)
PLEASE READ the notes below before using The Mountain's NEW online registration system at the link below.
To navigate The Mountain's new registration system:
1. Please remember this is the first year of using this system, and it occurs as The Mountain operates with reduced staff. Your patience with any glitches will be greatly appreciated; any problems will be solved best by calling The Mountain between 9a-4p EST on Monday, Wednesday or Friday at 828-526-5838.
2. Recognize that the economical software chosen by The Mountain targets their primary market of Youth Campers and Youth Group Leaders. Required legal questions regarding birthdate are built-in to this youth-market system. Please enter any birthdate you wish as long as the year is prior to 1994 (stating truthfully that you are over 18!)
3. Like most software of this variety, a User Name, Password, email and two phones* are required for use. The Mountain has assured us that your contact information will not be used for any other purpose than to communicate with you regarding your GSV reservation, and stored only for any reservations you make at The Mountain in the future.
*duplicating one phone number in both fields is accepted by the system.
4. Full payment by credit card, eCheck or mail-in check is requested at the time of registration. Cancellation prior to 30 days of the event will receive a full refund less $35, and cancellations within 30 days of the event will receive a full refund less $60. (Experience has taught us that collecting deposits overtaxes The Mountain's accounting processes. Thank you for cooperating in this.)
5. Navigating from screen to screen in this system is not completely intuitive. Once logged in, follow the sequence below, and be sure to scroll down if the "Next" or "Proceed" buttons are not visible.
Create User-Password, and Login
Open "Programs" (Next screen will open)
Check ADD PROGRAM (Next screen will open)
Check RETREATS and PROCEED
Choose GSV 4 DAY or 3 DAY (ignore any dates shown) and NEXT
(Subsequent screens for payment are standard)
6. The last screen offers you PDF downloads of helpful information, especially if this is your first trip to the Mountain.)
